Repair of water supply pipes
Water leakage is the main problem of water supply piping system and fittings. Repair the leaking water supply pipe, should find the leaking position first.
Open installed pipeline along the line inspection, you can find the leakage site. For buried pipelines, observation should be carried out first to listen for leakage in pipe sections with long-term moisture, water accumulation and water extraction on the ground. Meanwhile, by referring to original design drawings and existing valve positions, the leakage position should be accurately determined to carry out excavation, repair and burial.
According to the situation of water leakage, pipe repair can be done by pipe replacement, jacket bonding, fiberglass method and welding.
1. If the pipe is damaged in a large area and the whole pipe needs to be replaced, the method of connecting and replacing the pipe can be adopted by double socket (live pipe fitting). During the construction of this method, it should be noted that the insert end should be chamfered to form a groove, and the insert end of the original pipe section and the replacement pipe should be marked with the insert length marking.
2. The bushing repair bonding method is mainly aimed at pipe holes and joint leakage. Select pipes of the same diameter, about 15~20cm in length, cut them lengthwise, wool the inner surface of the casing and the outer surface of the pipe to be filled according to the procedure of bonding joint, and then cover them with glue and stick them in the water leakage place.
3. The METHOD of GLASS fiber reinforced plastics is to prepare resin solution with epoxy resin and curing agent, dip the resin solution with glass fiber cloth, and then evenly wrap it around the leakage point of pipes or joints. After curing, it becomes GLASS fiber reinforced plastics to stop water leakage. Conditional still can add stainless steel hoop to clip glass fiber cloth in leakage point.
