PE pipe in the construction should avoid mistakes
The quality of the project is determined by small details, so we should pay more attention to the details when PE pipe construction, through years of experience and summary to explain the mistakes we should avoid in the construction:
It shall not be connected with expansion joint and pipe hoop
Reason: Due to the thin wall of PE feed pipe, it is easy to form a vacuum in the pipeline in case of heavy rain, resulting in the pipe being sucked flat and burst.
Solution: In the installation must use the straight water joint connection. The dc water joint has two main functions: 1. 2. Used for pipeline ventilation, overflow and elimination of expansion allowance.
Do not use in hot water
Usage: 1. The normal water supply temperature of PE pipe shall not exceed 60℃;
2. The normal water temperature of PVC-U pipe shall not exceed 45℃.
Three, should not backfill without pressure test, dark compress.
Reason: It is used to test the strength and air tightness of the pipeline, so as to prevent the pipeline from leaking during use and causing greater losses.
Solution: After the installation of the water supply pipeline should be in accordance with the relevant technical regulations for pressure test, in the case of no leakage in the pipeline, then backfill, dark compress.
Pressure test in summer should not be conducted at noon or in the afternoon
Reason: PE water supply pipe because of material performance, easy to absorb the heat in the air, so that the water temperature inside the pipe rise, high temperature can reach about 50℃. Therefore, when the temperature is high, the corresponding reduction coefficient should be selected according to the actual water temperature to calculate the test pressure of the pipe.
5. Flat flaring should not be used
Reason: PE feed water supply pipe flat flaring taper is large, it is difficult for pipe and end to be fully inserted into the bottom of flat flaring, leading to leakage of pipe interface.
Solution: PE water supply pipe is generally connected with a looper or directly bonded with a bundle.
The collar expansion joint shall not be used in the cross pipe
Reason: the sealing performance of the tube hoop expansion joint is poor. It is easy to cause leakage accident when used in the cross pipe.
Solution: the cross pipe in the general use of expansion joint, to ensure that the pipeline will not leak.
Vii. Welding temperature should not be too high
Reason: Due to the characteristics of various materials, the material degrades at high temperature, making it carbonized.
Solution: 1. Welding temperature is generally 200℃ ~ 240℃; 2. 2. Pp-r is generally 260℃;
