Introduction to PP pipe flange connection
Note: Assembly of flanges and steel pipes: the perpendiciularity of the flange and the center line of the pipe should be guaranteed. During assembly, spot welding should be carried out first and then the perpendiciularity of the flange ruler should be tested to make the vertical deviation value a not exceed 1~ 2mm soil.
Common flanges: flanges are made of steel and cast iron, with round, square and ingot shapes.
(1) Flat welded steel flange: The connection between the flange and the steel pipe is made by electric welding. The specifications are divided into 5 types according to the working pressure of the pipe :0.25. 0.6.1.0. 1.6.2.5 MPa5. Flat welded steel flanges are mostly made of smooth sealing surface with 2~4 rings of sealing groove (commonly known as water line). A few pipes with higher requirements for tightness (such as ammonia pipe, nitrogen valve, etc.) adopt concave and convex sealing surface.
(2) Screw flange: it is generally cast iron flange, and the connection with the steel pipe is threaded. It is mainly used for connecting galvanized steel pipe with flanged accessories and installing. When the machined pipe thread is wrapped with hemp and coated with lead oil, screw down the flange with internal thread.
In addition to the above two kinds of flanges, there are flat welded loose sleeve steel flanges, welded steel flanges, rolled side loose sleeve flanges and other kinds.
PP pipe flange connection: flange connection of pipe through fittings flanges and fastener bolt, nut fastening. Pressure in the middle of the flange gasket and make the pipeline connecting method of a kind of connection, flange connection is a removable joint, commonly used in PP pipe pipe valves and flanges, pipes and flange pipe fittings (disc elbow, tee, etc.), the flange of the interface equipment connection, flange connection is easy to remove, connecting the advantages of high strength and good rigor.
